Lap Sau Changes | |||||||
| There are many changes possible in the basic cyclic Lap sau exercise. The person with the Wing hand can do any kind of attack and the other side responds with an appropriate defense. Examples of changes the person with the Wing hand or Bong sau can do are: a punch with the Guarding hand, A Pak sau and punch, a long pulling grab, a low palm hit with the Wing hand, an inside pull and chop... and many more. Below is an example of the long pull change along with two defenses. A slight turn and counter punch is another option. Often a photo of the situation can give you ideas. | |||||||
