Thrusting Fingers Form

The Thrusting Fingers Form (Bil Jee or Biu Jee) The Thrusting Fingers Form (Biu Jee or Bil Jee) is the next logical extension after the Siu Lim Tao and Chum Kiu forms. The Bil Jee form has the purpose of developing penetrating power and for recovering from bad positions. The first two forms teach proper rooted structure and position in the stationary and movement case. The third form provides some ideas to recover from bad positions. The Bil Jee form uses the entire body to develop a penetrating whipping kind of force. |

Get into the stance. | |

2. Thrusting Fingers Section Left punch, open the hand, bend the hand down three times, palm up hand, circling hand, bend the hand three times towards the right, palm up hand , circling hand, bend the hand three times upwards, palm up hand, circle the hand to a closed fist, bring the arm back. Repeat with the right hand. | |

3. Elbow Section Open the left hand, turn right and apply a left vertical elbow. Turn left and do a right vertical elbow. Turn Left and do a right vertical elbow. Step up while poking the right hand from underneath the left elbow. Both feet are side by side. Poke with the left hand. Bring the hands back. Now do a left circling foot followed by a right circling foot, followed by a left circling foot. These kinds of movements can be use in attack to sweep and in defense to recover from a sweep. Repeat on the other side. Open the left hand, turn right and apply a left vertical elbow. Step up while poking the right hand from underneath the left elbow. Both feet are side by side. Poke with the left hand. Bring the hands back. Now do a left circling foot followed by a right circling foot, followed by a left circling foot. Repeat on the other side. Open the left hand, turn right and apply a left vertical elbow. Poke the right hand forward from underneath the left elbow while pulling the left hand back to the side. Do a low left hand palm strike while pulling the right hand back to the side. Face the center again with a left Fook sau. Then send out a right Man sau and pull the left hand back to the side. Circle the right hand into a fist and then pull the fist back to the side.Repeat on the other side. Open the left hand, turn right and apply a left vertical elbow. Poke the right hand forward from underneath the left elbow while pulling the left hand back to the side. Do a high left hand palm strike while pulling the right hand back to the side. Chop the left hand towards the left while returning the stance to the front facing position. Do a left Fook sau followed by a right Man sau.and pull the left hand back to the side. Circle the right hand into a fist and then pull the fist back to the side. Repeat on the other side. | |

4. High and Low Chop (Gan sau) Do a high left and low right Gan sau while turning left. Turn right and chop with the left hand high and right hand low. Turn left and chop with the right hand high and left hand low. This movements translates to dividing hand or splitting hand or ploughing hand. Do a left Fook sau while returning the stance to the front facing position followed by a right Man sau and pull the left hand back to the side. Circle the right hand into a fist and then pull the fist back to the side. Repeat on the other side. | |

5. Searching hands (Man sau) Do a left Searching hand, a right Searching hand and a left Searching hand. The stance stays in the front facing position. Do a left Fook sau. Now do three repetitions of turning towards the left with the bent wrist Fook sau and then turn the stance back to the front facing position while dropping the left hand down (pressing down with a palm facing the floor hand). Circle the right hand into a fist and then pull the fist back to the side. Repeat on the other side. | |

6. Poking Section
(Bil sau) Do a left Poke, right Poke and right Wu sau, left Poke and left Wu sau. Pull the right hand to the side while turning towards the right to deliver a palm up neck strike. Then return the stance to the front facing position while doing a left horizontal chop to the side. Do a left Fook sau while returning the stance to the front facing position followed by a right Man sau and pull the left hand back to the side. Circle the right hand into a fist and then pull the fist back to the side. Repeat on the other side. | |

7. Double grab and turn section Poke both hands forward. Grab. Turn left with a double pulling or grabbing hand. Return the stance to the front facing position and do a left hooking punch while the right hand returns to the side. Do a left uplifting palm, circle the left hand and bring it back to the side.Circle the hand and bring it back to the side. Repeat on the other side. | |

8. Bending Down and Up section Bend down and up three times. The hands swing up the center. Do three punches, circle the hand and bring the hand back to the aside. | |
